LTA are planning to launch LAMDA classes with our drama tutor KATIE MEEKISON in Tenbury Wells! After having lots of enquires we are excited to be exploring these exams as part of our expanding timetable and options. 

What is LAMDA?

LAMDA is a world class drama school and a leader in graded examinations. The syllabus consists of a series of graded examinations for all ages, abilities and experience.

The aim of both the lessons and exam’s, is to develop a deeper love, appreciation, passion and understanding of language and literature through various styles of performance. Once the children feel prepared, an examiner will assess the children’s work, where they will be graded and given feedback and a certificate.

Katie trained at LAMDA and has taught LAMDA Exams for over 11 years. Nearly all her pupils gain distinctions. Worked at LAMDA for over 10 years and has close relationships with the school. Katie's knowledge of LAMDA is incredible and will be a huge benefit to LTA students.

Shared (in pairs on same grade and syllabus. Exam would be taken together)

Group lessons working on solo pieces
